2.5 Meter Observa-DOME Drawings

Although our smallest 2.5 Meter Observa-DOME may be considered an entry level model, it shares the same robust features as our larger Observa-DOMES. With it's 30 inch clear aperture, our 2.5 Meter will easily accommodate Schmidt-Cassegrain type designs in the 8 to 10 inch range, while allowing room for 2 to 3 persons inside. The 2.5 Meter Observa-DOME comes with an electric azimuth drive system, and manually operated shutters.

While it is possible to provide a computer automation package for this model, we feel that in terms of cost, and future telescope expansion, computer automation is more suited to our larger Observa-DOME models .
